Pasta with Potatoes and Garlic Yogurt Sauce

This pasta  dish  is simple, easy and  divine. There is no meat sauce but with fried potatoes and onions along with garlic yogurt sauce is just a piece of heaven in your plate.

Ingredients:
120 g pasta
2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes
2 medium onions, peeled and chopped

1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 clove of garlic, grated
1tsp fresh thyme leaves or dried
1/2 tsp turmeric,
Salt and pepper to taste

Method
Put a frying pan on a medium heat and add some olive oil. Add chopped onions and potatoes to the frying pan and saute  until softened. Then add turmeric, and season with salt and pepper.Stir it for 1-2 minutes and then add thyme leaves. Fry for a few seconds and remove the pan from the heat.

Put a pot on a medium to high heat and add 600 ml water, some salt and 1 Tbsp oil. Bring it to boil and add pasta to the boiled water and let  to boil again and cook pasta for 10 minutes.

Then remove pot from the heat and drain it. Place pasta in the pot and add potato mixture to the pasta. Cover the pot with lid and  cook it on medium-low heat for 20-30 minutes or until cooked.

 Meanwhile, grate garlic and add it to yogurt season with a pinch of salt. Mix it well. Pasta is ready now. Serve on a  plate and topping with yogurt sauce.

پاستا با سیب زمینی و سس ماست و سیر.

این پاستا یک غذای فوق العاده خوشمزه میباشد که در عین سادگی طعم بینظیری دارد.

مواد لازم

صدوبیست گرم پاستا

دو عدد سیب زمینی متوسط پوست گرفته و چهار گوش خرد شده

دو عدد پیاز متوسط خرد شده

نصف پیمانه ماست

یک حبه سیر خام رنده شده

یک ق چ برگ آویشن تازه

نصف ق چ زردچوبه

نمک و فلفل به میزان لام

روغن زیتون

طرز تهیه

یک ماهی تابه را روی حرارت ملایم قرار داده و روغن زیتون را اضافه کنید – سیب زمینی ها و پیاز های خرد شده را به ماهی تابه بیفزایید. مواد را هم بزنید و اجازه دهید کمی سرخ شده و نرم شوند. سپس ادویه ها را افزوده و 1-2 دقیقه هم بزنید. در مرحله ی بعدی- برگ های آویشن را نیز به مخلوط اضافه کنید و5-4 ثانیه همچنان مخلوط را هم زده و سپس ماهی تابه را از روی حرارت بردارید. یک قابلمه را روی حرارت ملایم قرارداده و 600 میلی لیتر آب را همراه با کمی نمک و روغن زیتون بگذارید به جوش آید. سپس پاستا را داخل قابلمه ریخته و اجازه دهید به مدت 10 دقیقه بجوشد. سپس قابلمه را از روی گاز برداشته و پاستاها را داخل آبکش بریزید. قابلمه را روی گاز قرار داده و پاستاهارا به قابلمه برگردانید و رویش مخلوط سیب زمینی را بریزید. در قابلمه را گذاشته و اجازه دهید به مدت 30-20 دقیقه روی حرارت ملایم پخته و دم بکشد. تا آماده شدن پاستا- سیر را رنده کرده و به همراه کمی نمک به ماست اضافه کرده و هم بزنید. پاستای آماده شده را داخل یک بشقاب یا یک کاسه سرو کنید و روی آن ماست و سیر ریخته و میل نمایید. نوش جان.

Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
