This Azerbaijani recipe for chicken sandwich gets ready just in few minutes. Combination of fresh mashed garlic with fried yogurt and chicken is very delicious.
2 chicken breasts, diced
4Tbsp Greek yogurt
1 clove garlic, mashed
Salt and chili flakes to taste
Pita or tortilla bread
In a sauce pan with oil add diced chicken and season with salt and flakes chilli. Fry the chicken until is brown.
In a pan with 1 Tbsp oil, add Greek yogurt, mashed garlic and turmeric and pinch of salt. Fry the yogurt for 2 minutes. Stir frequently.
Spread fried chicken and garlic yogurt sauce on the bread and roll it. It is ready to serve.

مرغ با سس ماست و سیر سرخ شده
ترکیب ماست و سیر سرخ شده همراه با مرغ و ادویه خوراکی خوش عطر و خیلی خوش طعم و سبک رو میسازه که در عرض چند دقیقه آماده میشه.
دو تکه سینه ی مرغ خرد شده
چهار ق غ ماست چکیده
یک حبه سیر خام
نمک و فلفل به میزان لازم
نان تافتون یا لواش
تکه های گوشت مرغ را در تابه سرخ کنید . نمک و فلفل به مرغ اضافه کنید.
در یک تابه 1 ق غ روغن را گرم کنید. ماست چکیده را همراه با – سیر خام له شده – زردچوبه و کمی نمک در روغن برای 2 دقیقه سرخ کنید.
روی نان سس ماست را همراه با مرغ پخش کنید و به صورت لقمه در آورید.

Iranian cuisine is a combination of rice with meat ( chicken, beef, lamb, fish, turkey), nuts, fruits, dried and fresh herbs and vegetables. Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, ....
I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother.
Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
