Perfect blueberry muffins with crunchy tops.

Ingredients
200g plain flour
150g white sugar
½ tsp salt
1 egg
2 tsp baking powder
75ml. Oil
75ml. Milk
300g blueberry

Ingredients for topping
100g white sugar
50g plain flour
50g unsalted butter
½ tsp cinnamon powder

How to make it
Preheat oven to the 190C.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix oil with egg and milk. Add it to the flour mixture and mix until combine well. Spread some flour top of the blueberries and add them to the cake mixture.
Do not be worried if some of blueberries smashed, because they will give more beautiful colour to the muffins. Spoon the mixture into the muffin cases.
In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle topping over muffins.
Bake for 25-30 mins at 190C.

I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother.
Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
