Prawn Cocktail

Prawn/shrimp cocktail کوکتل میگو is a kind of seafood dish with a tasty Tartar sauceسس تارتار . Usually you can find seafood sauce in your local supermarkets but it is easy to make it at home from scratch. Tartar sauce is used as a condiment with seafood meals.

Ingredients

  • 300g prawns, shelled and cooked

  • 3tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 4tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1tsp Tabasco sauce

  • one lemon juice

  • 1tsp white sugar

  • 3 lettuce leaves, finely chopped

  • 3tsp finely chopped chives or green part of spring onions

  • Salt- pepper to taste

  • Pinch of paprika

Instructions

To make the sauce, In a bowl with ketchup and mayonnaise, add lemon juice, sugar, Tabasco sauce, paprika and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix together until you have a beautiful pink colour sauce. Stir in the prawn.

Chop herbs and divide between small bowls or glasses. Sprinkle the prawn mixture over the herbs. Garnish with chopped chives and paprika.

کوکتل میگو

یکی از پیش غذاهای دریایی کوکتل میگو هست که هم سریع آماده میشه هم فوق‌العاده خوشمزه هست. همه ی مزه و طعم این کوکتل هم بستگی به سس صورتی رنگ اون داره که به سس تارتار معروف هست. ماده ی اصلی در تهیه ی این سس – مایونز هست و باقی مواد میتواند مختلف باشد. معمولن این سس تارتار در سوپرمارکتها به صورت آماده شده و باعنوان سس غذاهای دریایی فروخته میشه ولی در منزل هم میشه خیلی فوری فوتی این سس رو تهیه کرد. طرز تهیه سس تارتار که من در اینجا به اشتراک میگذارم بسیار پرطرفدار هست. کوکتل میگو به صورت سرد سرو میشه.

مواد لازم

سیصد گرم میگو پوست گرفته

سه ق غ کچاپ گوجه‌فرنگی

چهار ق غ سس مایونز

یک ق چ سس تاباسکو

یک عدد لیمو ترش

یک ق چ شکر سفید

سه برگ کاهوی ریز خرد شده

سه ق چ قسمت سبز پیازچه- خرد شده

کمی پودر پاپریکا

نمک و فلفل به میزان لازم.

طرز تهیه

میگوها را پوست گرفته و داخل آبجوش که کمی نمک دارد ریخته و یکی دوجوش بدهید تا پخته شوند.بعد داخل آبکش ریخته تا آب آن گرفته و خنک شود.

برای درست کردن سس: داخل یک‌کاسه سس مایونز و کچاپ گوجه‌فرنگی را با آبلیمو- شکر- سس تاباسکو – پودر پاپریکا –

نمک و فلفل مخلوط می‌کنیم تا یک سس یک‌دست و صورتی رنگی داشته باشیم. سس را روی میگوهای پخته ریخته و هم می می زنیم.

کاهو و پیازچه ها را خرد کرده و با هم مخلوط می کنیم. داخل پیاله ها یا گیلاس های متوسط سبزیجات را اول می‌ریزیم و روی آن مخلوط میگو می ریزیم. روی کوکتل میگو کمی از قسمت سبز پیازجه و پودر پاپریکا می پاشیم و یک حلقه لیمو ترش هم کنارش قرار داده و سرو میکنیم.

I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
