Zucchin Naan Bread

Naan / noon /nan نان is a Persian word and means bread. Naan is a kind of flat bread found in the Iranian cuisine, Azerbaijani, Turkish, Indian and Middle East countries.

Naan being freshly prepared in tandoor and we can get fresh beautiful naan for breakfast, lunch and dinner from bakery everyday. There are loads of different kinds of naan bread. All are gorgeous, tasty and beautiful. Today I baked my zucchini flat bread.

Zucchini flat bread naan نان کدو سبز, is a favourite treat. Zucchini which is called ‘Kadoo کدو ‘ makes main roll in keeping the bread soft and moist. It is a beautiful combo of zucchini with onions, cheese and spices. I have used mozzarella cheese, but it goes well with feta or cheddar cheese too. These are Sooooooo good. Sooooooo delicious and hearty naan bread.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 large zucchini, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 30-40g Cheese (feta cheese, mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese)
  • 40-50 ml water
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 2tsp salt
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 1.2 tsp chilli flakes
  • Vegetable oil

How to make it?????

Grate the zucchini and squeeze to release the juice. Add chopped onion, eggs, cheese and season with spices. Mix all together. Then add flour, baking powder and combine with hand. Slowly add water to the batter and knead it for 2-3 minutes. If the batter is sticky add some flour. Make a ball and cover the dough and allow to rest for 1 hour.

After an hour, place the dough on a floured surface and divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each dough into a small ball.

On a floured surface, using a rolling pin and roll it into a flatten circle.

Heat a little bit oil in a pan and add in flattened dough. Once one side fried ( 3-4 minutes) flip over and fry other side.

نان کدو سبز

نان یا نون یک کلمه ی اصیل و قدیمی ایرانی می باشد و به نوعی از نان مسطح گفته میشود که در فرهنگ آشپزی ایران- ترکیه – هند و کشورهای خاورمیانه بکار برده میشود این نوع نان در تنور پخت میشود. امروزه کلمه نان در بسیاری از کشورهای اروپایی و آمریکایی رایج شده و بکار برده میشود.
تمام نانوایی ها در ایران سه مرتبه در روز نان های تازه را برای صبحانه – ناهار و شام پخت می کنند. پیدا کردن این نوع نانوایی ها در کشورهای اروپایی کمتر دیده می‌شود

نان کدو سبز یا نان کدویی یک نوع نان تهیه شده با کدو – پنیر- پیاز و ادویه های مختلف است و طعم فوق العاده ای دارد که هم میتوان به تنهایی به عنوان یک وعده ی غذایی مصرف کرد و نیز همراه با غذاهای دیگر بسیار خوشمزه خواهد بود. پنیری که من در این نان استفاده کردم پنیر مازارلا هست ولی با پنیر تبریزی و یا چدار هم عالی میشود. پخت این نان نیاز به فر نداشته و در تابه معمولی به راحتی پخته میشود.

مواد لازم

سه پیمانه آرد همه منظوره

یک عدد کدوی درشت رنده شده

دو عدد تخم مرغ

یک پیاز نگنینی خرد شده

سی چهل گرم پنیر تبریزی – مازارلا یا چدار3

چهل – پنجاه میلی لیتر آب

دو ق چ نمک

یک ق چ بیکینگ پودر

یگ ق چ پودر پاپریکا

کمی فلفل

روغن مایع

طرز تهیه.

کدورا رنده کرده و آن را فشار دهید تا آب اضافی آن خارج شود.سپس پیاز نگینی خرد شده – تخم مرغ ها- پنیر خرد شده یا رنده شده- را همراه با تمام ادویه ها به کدوی رنده شده افزوده و باهم مخلوط میکنیم. سپس آردو بیکینگ پودر را هم افزدوه و با دست تمام مواد را مخلوط کرده وبعد کم کم آب را روی خمیر ریخته و با دست به مدت 3-2 دقیقه خوب ورزمیدهیم.

اگر خمیر کمی چسبناک بود مقداری آرد اضافه کنید. خمیر آماده شده را به صورت توپ مانند در آورده و روی آن را میپوشانیم تا به مدت یکساعت استراحت کند

بعد از یکساعت خمیر را روی سطح آردی قرار داده و به هشت قسمت تقسیم کرده و هر یک را به صورت یک توپ خمیری در می اوریم.

روی سطح آردی یکی از چانه های خمیر را با وردنه باز کرده – داخل تابه کمی روغن ریخته و خمیر را داخل تابه قرار میدهیم. هر سمت نان 4-3 دقیقه باید پخته شود.
