Saffron Tea چای زعفران

Saffron/ Zafaraan زعفران or Zarparaan زرپران is one of the most expensive spices in the world. Saffron is called king of spices and sunshine of spice not only due to it’s gorgeous colour and flavour but also it has lots of benefits for human body. Saffron boosts memory, it is an antidepressant, and good for heart health.

There is a variety of recipes for Saffron tea. You just need saffron threads, some spices, honey or sugar and boiled water. You can prepare plain saffron tea, or you can mix black tea leaves with saffron threads, add some spices such as cinnamon or cardamom, slices of lemon, honey even you can add milk or coconut milk to the the saffron tea and make it more richer.

Saffron tea might be served hot or cold.

Cost of saffron depends on it’s quality. Iran produces most of the world saffron. There are other countries such as India, Afghanistan, Spain and Morocco which produce saffron too.

Saffron is most expensive spice . Maybe you ask why is Saffron this much expensive? because from planting moment until harvest time, you need lots of hand workds and hire many laborers. It is lots of hard work: collecting saffron flowers, separated stigma and then dry it. Each purlple flower has 3 stigmas and that is the saffron.

Saffron Tea

  • ½ tsp saffron threads
  • Pinch of cardamom powder
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • Honey or sugar
  1. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add saffron threads, cardamom and cinnamon to the water.



  2. let saffron steep and simmer for few minutes (5-8minutes) and until saffron colour release.



چای زعفران

زعفران یا زرپران یکی از گرانبهاترین ادویه ها در جهان محسوب میشه و درو کردن زعفران با دست انجام میگیره. و بی دلیل نیست که از زعفران به عنوان پادشاه ادویه ها و یا خورشید ادویه ها نام میبرن.و این عناوین برای زعفران فقط به دلیل رنگ زیبای قرمز یا زردش نیست بلکه زعفران نه تنها رنگ و طعم و عِطر فوق‌العاده‌ای رو به غذا یا شیرینی میده بلکه خواص زیادی برای سلامتی ما داره: زعفران ضد افسردگی هست – برای تقویت حافظه و سلامت قلب خوبه .ایران  بیشترین میزان  زعفران دنیا رو تولید میکنه.

من در یکی از پست های قبلم شربت زعفران رو به اشتراک گذاشتم و امروز خواستم چای زعفرانی که درست کردم به اشتراک بگذارم.

چای زعفران رو میشه به آسونی در منزل تهیه کرد : تمام چیزهایی که نیاز هست شامل کمی رشته‌های زعفرانآب جوشعسل یا شکر و چند ادویه هست. میتونید از گیاهان یا ادویه های دیگر هم با زعفران همراه کنید. مثلن می تونید چند برگ نعنای تازه یا لیمو ترش اضافه کنیدمی تونید رشته‌های زعفران رو با خود چای سیاه مخلوط کنیدمی تونید مثل من از دارچین استفاده کنید ولی می تونید از هل بجای دارچین استفاده کنیدحتی می تونید شیر و یا شیر نارگیل بهش اضافه کنید و طعم غلیظ تری به چای زعفرانیتون بدید.

خوب می‌بینید که در‌واقع من بجای یک طرز تهیه چای زعفران چندین نوع طرز تهیه رو گفتم. .

مواد لازم

نصف ق چ رشته‌های زعفران

کمی پودر هل سبز

یک شاخه کوچک دارچین

عسل یا شکر

طرز تهیه

سه پیمانه آب را بجوش آورید. رشته‌های زعفران را همراه با دارچین و هل داخل آبجوش ریخته و اجازه دهید روی حرارت ملایم برای ۸۵ دقیقه زعفران دم کشیده و رنگ قشنگ زعفران کاملن ظاهر شود.

. –زمان ریختن چای می‌توانید یک برش لیمو ترش و یا کمی عسل یا شکر به چای اضافه کنید.

چای زعفران را می‌توانید به صورت گرم یا سرد میل کنید.

Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
