Earl Grey Cake

Have you tried or heard about pound cake with Earl Grey tea leaves??!!!

I am a tea lover and I love to drink tea with different flavours. Earl Grey tea چای ارل گری is one of them. So imagine to have a cake with Earl Grey flavour.

Taste is very surprising and aromatic, a buttery cake with lovely citrusy flavour. Just delicious. No need to any electric blender or food processor. Just in few minutes, you can mix ingredients with a spoon and that’s it. Bake it and eat it.

Earl Grey Cake

  • 140 g plain flour
  • 120 g butter, room temperature
  • 100 g white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Earl greay tea bags
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Ingredients for syrup

  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup boiled water
  • 1 tsp honey
  1. preheat the oven to 180c degree. Linet he cake pan with parchment paper.

    Place the butter and sugar into a bowl and whisk all ingredients together, until cream and fluffy. Then add in the egg and beat it.




  2. Add tea leaves and mix together.




  3. Finaly, mix flour and baking powder together and add it to the batter and combine all the ingredientns until smooth.



  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake the loaf for about 30-40 minutes.



  5. Meanwhile, mix all ingredients for syrup.

    Remove the cake from the oven and brush the lemon and honey syrup on top of the cake with a pastry bursh while still is hot.



کیک چای ارل گری

من عاشق نوشیدن چای هستم و هر نوع چای را دوست دارم. یکی از انواع چای که همیشه دوست داشتم چای ارل گری هست که حتمن همگی شما هم با این چای خوش عِطر و مزه آشنایی دارید.

چای ارل گری نامش را از شخصی به نام چارلز گری در انگلستان گرفته که لفب ارل داشته که یک لقب سلطنتی در انگلیس میباشد. چای ارل گری یکی از انواع چای ها ی سیاه پرطرفدار در جهان هست که از ترکیب پوست خشک ترنج یا روغن ترنجبرگ چای و برگاموت تهیه می‌شود و دارای عِطر زیبایی میباشدکه ترکیبی از عِطر میوه و گل میباشد.

چیزی که باعث شد در مورد چای ارل گری صحبت کنم کیک امروز هست که با چای ارل گری درست کردم.

شاید بگید : بر گ چای داخل کیک چه مزه ای میشه ؟؟

ولی واقعن خوشمزه و متفاوت هست

با این کیک میشه دو تا چیز را با هم داشت یعنی هم کیک هم چای با هم.

البته اگر چای ارل گری دوست داشته باشید این کیک را هم خواهید پسندید

مواد لازم

صدوچهل گرم یا یک پیمانه ارد سفید

صدوبیست گرم یا نصف پیمانه کره به دمای محیط رسیده باشد

صدگرم یا نصف پیمانه شکر سفید

یک عدد تخم مرغ

چهار گرم یا دو چای کیسه ای ارل گری

سه گرم یا یک ق چ بیکینگ پودر

مواد لازم برای شربت

سه ق غ شکر سفید

یکی ق غ عسل

یک چهارم پیمانه ابجوش

سه ق غ آبلیموترش

طرز تهیه

فر را روی حرارت 180 درجه سانتیگراد گرم میکنیم.داخل قالب کیک را با کاغذ روغنی می پوشانیم و یا داخل قالب را چرب کنید.

خوبی این کیک به این هست که خیلی سریع آماده می‌شود و نیازی به دستگاه همزن برقی هم ندارد.

داخل یک‌کاسه شکر و کره را با همزده تا یک بافت خامه ای بگیرد.سپس تخم مرغ را به مخلوط کره افزوده و با هم ترکیب میکنیم. در مرحله ی بعدی دو چای کیسه ای را باز کرده و داخل مایه ریخته و یک هم می زنیم. آرد و بیکینگ پودر را با هم همزده و روی مایه میریزیم و همه ی مواد را خوب با هم مخلوط میکنیم. همین

مایه آماده شده را داخل قالب ریخته و در فر از قبل گرم شده به مدت 4030 دقیقه میپزیم.

تا آماده شدن کیک: سه ق غ شکریکی ق غ عسلیک چهارم پیمانه ابجوش و سه ق غ لیمو ترش را با هم مخلوط کرده و کنار میگذاریم.

وقتی کیک حاضر شد از فر خارج کرده و شربت عسل را با برس روی کیک میزنیم.

Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
