Best Home Made Corn Dogs

This is one of the most delicious home made corn dogs recipe. Easy, quick and yummy. You will need tall glass, a deep frying pot or pan, and wooden skewers.

Home Made Corn Dogs

  • 6-7 hotdogs
  • 1¼ cups plain flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup corn flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Oil for frying
  1. In a large bowl, add all dry ingredietns: Plain flour, corn flour,sugar, salt, pepper, and baking powder and whisk them together.



  2. Then add milk and eggs to the flour mixture and mix until just combined



  3. and you have a thick batter without lump. Next, pour the batter into a tall glass. Heat the oil in a pot.



  4. Skewer hot dogs with long wooden skewers.





  5. Then, dip hotdogs into the batter and turn it to the right and left until coat evenly.



  6. Cook hot dogs in hot oil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.





  7. Remove from the the oil and place them on a paper towel to get rid of extra oil. Serve corndogs with Ketchup or mustard , both go well with corn dogs.




طرز تهیه کورن داگ

کورن داگ سوسیس هایی هستن که به سیخ زده شدن وبا نوعی خمیر غلیظ تهیه شده از آرد ذرت و ارد معمولی پوشیده و سرخ شدند

کورن داگ در‌واقع نوعی فست فود بشمار میره و در خیابانها و ساندویچ فروشی ها به فروش میرسه.

مواد لازم

ششهفت عدد هات داگ

یک و یک چهارم پیمانه آرد سفید

سه چهارم پیمانه شیر

سه چهارم پیمانه آرد ذرت

یک چهارم پیمانه شکر

دو عدد تخم مرغ

یک ق چ بیکینگ پودر

یک ق چ نمک

کمی فلفل

چند عدد سیخ کوچک چوبی

روغن برای سرخ کردن

طرز تهیه

داخل یک‌کاسه بزرگآردسفیدآرد ذرتشکرنمکفلفل و بیکینگ پودر را ریخته وهم بزنید تا با هم مخلوط شوند. سپس شیر و تخم مرغ ها را به آرد افزوده و مواد را با یک چنگال هم بزنید تا به صورت یک سس غلیظ و یک‌دست در آید.

سپسمایه آماده شده را داخل یک لیوان بلند بریزید. روغن به میزان کافی در قابلمه داغ کنید.

هات داگ رابه سیخ چوبی بکشید.. سپس هر هات داگ را داخل مایه آردی فرو کرده بطوریکه تمام هات داگ را بپوشاند. بعدهات داگ را از لیوان خارج کرده و کمی بالای لیوان نگه دارید تا مایه اضافی داخل لیوان ریخته شود. حالا هات داگ را داخل قابلمه داغ شده قرار داده تا کورن داگ ها حسابی سرخ و برشته شوند. کورن داگ سرخ شده را روی دستمال کاغذی آشپزخانه قرار داده تا روغن اضافی آن خارج شود. بعد از سرخ کردن همه کورن داگ ها معمولن آن‌ها را با سس خردلیا سس کچاپ سرو میکنند.

I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
