How To Make Potato Rosti

Rosti روستی is very simple, easy and at the same time delicious potato dish. It is mostly made with a grated potatoes. In some recipes onions or bacon can be added to potato rosti as well.

How To Make Rosti

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or olive oil
  1. Wash the potatoes. peel off them. Grate potatoes. Then, squeeze to get rid of starch.




  2. You can also spiral the potatoes as well.




  3. Season with salt and pepper. Gently mix all ingredients together.



  4. Melt the butter or heat the oil and then put rosti in the pan.




  5. let it fry , then flip over and fry other side too.




طرز تهیه روستی سیب زمینی

روستی یک غذای بسیار ساده از کشور سوئیس هست که برای صبحانه درست میکردند. طرز تهیه ی روستی یا روشتی بسیار اسون هست. تقریبن مشیه گفت همون سیب زمینی سرخ شده ی خودمون هست با کمی تفاوت .

روستی سیب زمینی از رنده کرده سیب زمینی خام تهیه میشه و نمک و فلفل طعم دهنده های روستی هستند. در بعضی از دستور تهیه های روستی علاوه بر سیب زمینیاز پیاز خرد شده و بیکن هم استفاده میشه..

  مواد لازم

سیب زمینی

نمک و فلفل

کره یا روغن زیتون برای سرخ کردن

طرز تهیه

سیب زمینی را شسته و با پوست یا بدون پوست رنده کنید.اگر خواستید میتونید با دستگاه رشته کن اسپیرال سیب زمینی ها را رشته کنید سیب زمینی های رنده شده را داخل توری ریخته و فشار دهید تا نشاسته ی آن خارج شود. نمک و فلفل به آن اضافه کرده و به آرامی هم بزنید تا طعم دار شود.

داخل تابه مقدار مناسبی روغن مایع ر داغ کرده و یا مقداری کره را آب کنید

برای سرخ کردن روستی میتوانید از قالب استفاده کنید و یا در تابه های کوچک گرد آن‌ها را سرخ کنید و یا حتی میتوانید فقط از قاشق غذاخوری استفاده کنیدد و یک مقدار از روستی را داخل تابه ریخته و آن را به صورت گرد و مرتب در آورید.

وقتی یک سمت آن سرخ شد پشت ورو کرده تا سمت دیگر آن هم سرخ شود.

گاهی زمان سرو یک تخم مرغ هم روی آن قرار میدهند.

Iranian food is a celebration of flavor, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, .... I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional Persian and Azerbaijani recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother. Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
