Hello everyone,  welcome to my page: rozinaspersiankitchen.

I am Iranian and I’m passionate about cooking and preparing my meals with love. When I share my Persian food recipes, I share  story behind the meal, the location and origin of the dish, the pronunciation of their Iranian name and the spices that used in Persian cuisine.

I am a YouTuber, cooking instructor and  very interested to introduce Persian meals, desserts and beverages to people from different cultures. I also love to try different meals from all over the world. I am a photographer and I love taking photos or let say hunting moments 😊, so me and my camera are very close friends and anytime I travel somewhere, I take hundreds of photos from people, foods, and nature,, ….

There is diversity of ethnical groups in Iran including: Persian, Azari, Kurd, Arab, Lur, Baloch, Gilak, Mazandarani. Each one of these groups has their own cuisine.  Iranian cuisine is a combination of rice with meat (chicken, beef, lamb, fish, turkey), nuts, fruits, dried and fresh herbs and vegetables. Iranian food is a celebration of flavour, colour and spices such as: saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, dried rose petals, dried limes, cumin, ….

All my recipes are approved by my family, friends and neighbours. I share my recipes in Farsi/English along with step by step photos of preparation. I take all my own pictures. I have learned my traditional food recipes from my lovely mother, and she has learned from her mother.

Over the years, I have experimented and learned more recipes. Some of my recipes are a fusion Western and Middle Eastern cuisine. Some are forgotten from Persian cooking tables and I try with posting and sharing those ones, to preserve them.
